I love carvings, Leslie. And this is certainly interesting enough to showcase. It's split of course. Did someone shoot at it or is that a knot? Interesting. With a little imagination, one could imagine the split as blood dripping from a wound.

The split does add mystery, the light gives it warmth and a human quality to it.
